Free players can begin playing without creating a permanent email-based account.

Your player name does not need to be your legal name. We recommend choosing a name that does not reveal private information.

3.2 Anonymous authentication information

WordVista uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous technical identifier for free players.

This identifier allows WordVista to:

Save progress and settings.
Associate scores with the correct player.
Maintain leaderboard information.

An anonymous Firebase identifier is not intended to display your real identity to other players.

3.3 Premium account information

When WordVista Pro account functionality becomes available, Premium players may be asked to provide or confirm:

3.4 Google Sign-In information

When Google Sign-In becomes available, you may choose to sign in using your Google account.

WordVista does not receive or store your Google account password.

3.7 Subscription and purchase information

When WordVista Pro subscriptions become available, purchases will be processed through Google Play.

WordVista does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card or bank-account information.

WordVista, Google Play, and RevenueCat may process information such as:

Subscription product selected.
Monthly or yearly subscription status.
Purchase date.
Renewal date.
Expiration date.
Cancellation status.
Refund or revocation status.
Google Play purchase token.
Transaction or order identifier.
RevenueCat App User ID.

RevenueCat may process end-user purchase and subscription information on WordVista’s behalf when subscriptions are enabled.

Google Play separately processes payment information according to Google’s own terms and privacy policy.

WordVista and its service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

WordVista uses Google Firebase services, including:

Firebase helps WordVista authenticate players, store gameplay information, and operate leaderboards.

Google may process information on WordVista’s behalf to provide, secure, monitor, and maintain Firebase services. Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore are covered by Firebase service and data-processing terms.

7.2 Google Play

When WordVista Pro launches, Google Play will process:

Payments.
Payment methods.
Subscription purchases.
Renewals.
Receipts.
Cancellations.
Refunds and payment disputes.
Related account and transaction information.

Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy policy.

WordVista may receive limited purchase information needed to verify Premium access.

7.3 RevenueCat

When subscriptions are enabled, WordVista plans to use RevenueCat to:

Determine entitlement status.
Connect purchases with WordVista accounts.

RevenueCat may process an app user identifier, purchase history, subscription status, purchase tokens, transaction information, and related technical information on WordVista’s behalf.

If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes the authentication request and provides WordVista with the authorised account information necessary to sign you in.

7.5 Website, hosting, and email providers

Your player name, selected country, score, and ranking may be visible on WordVista leaderboards.

Information you intentionally make public may be seen, copied, or recorded by other users.

Use a nickname rather than your full legal name.
Do not place your email address in your player name.
Do not include telephone numbers or sensitive information.
Contact support if a leaderboard name needs to be changed.

9. Advertising and Marketing

WordVista does not currently display third-party targeted advertising in the app.

WordVista does not currently sell personal information to advertising companies.

If advertising, analytics, or marketing technologies are added in the future, WordVista will update this Privacy Policy and any required consent controls before or when those technologies become active.

WordVista will send promotional email only where permitted by law and where you have consented or otherwise requested such communications.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email at any time using the unsubscribe method included in the message.

Service messages concerning your account, privacy requests, purchases, or security are not promotional messages.

10. Data Retention

WordVista retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Temporary account suspension or deactivation is not treated as account deletion.

Subscription cancellation is separate

Deleting your WordVista account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

You must separately cancel an active subscription through Google Play to prevent future renewal charges.

Google Play requires apps that offer account creation to provide an accessible account-deletion method and to delete associated user data, except information retained for legitimate disclosed reasons.

12. Data Security

WordVista uses reasonable administrative, organisational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information.
